This website is brought to you by the ‘Irish Section’ of the ‘Huguenot Society of Great Britain & Ireland’. It is intended to act as a primary portal and source of information for those specifically interested in Huguenots who lived in, or had links with, Ireland.
The wider Huguenot story is to be found on other sites and we also offer links to many websites that we believe may be of interest to those researching Huguenot history or Irish Huguenot ancestry.
Please click on the ‘Events’ tab above to read about our most recent events, including: our visit to Portarlington in August 2016, a talk on the Saurin family at Marsh’s Library in Dublin in June 2016, the re-dedication of Huguenot memorials in Lisburn Cathedral in November of last year; our ‘Treasures of Waterford’ tour which took place in September 2015; and the 200th year commemoration of a ‘famous duel’ which took place in Dublin in April 2015.
Our Annual Huguenot Service takes place on Sunday 20th November at 3.15pm in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin.
